Reverse Osmosis
One of my favorite household appliances is our reverse osmosis water filtering system.
I was never much of a water drinker before we had it. Even though I knew I should be drinking that 64 oz/day I didn't like the taste of it and just couldn't. Tap water is horrible, well water isn't much better, those filters in refrigerators just don't cut it, and even Britta filters don't help very much.
But R.O. water is amazing! It's the cleanest and best tasting water I've ever had and now I can't go without it.

What is Reverse Osmosis?
Reverse Osmosis systems remove dissolved solids and organic matter from water by diffusing it through a prefilter, membrane, and postfilter.
The prefilter removes sand, silt, dirt and chlorine. The water is then forced through a special membrane to remove minerals and impurities. Clean water is directed into a storage tank and the waste is flushed away. When the water leaves the storage tank, on it's way to the faucet, it goes through a post filter which removes any remaining tastes, odors, or sediments.
What you end up with is clean, high quality drinking water. Bottled water doesn't compare.

- Hi Christine, I love this lens. I use RV to first filter my tap water, and then run it through a Berky or Distiller. This lens is great 5*'s from me for a job well done.

- Perfect timing. We were discussing this at dinner tonight. We'll be remodeling our kitchen soon and definitely want an RO system for the sink. I'd also like a pot filler near the stove. We're going the Brita/Pur route now... Great info!

- My husband installed an RO system in our home. It is wonderful! We love it. Plus, it is so convenient to have safe, clean water that comes right out of the faucet. Before that, I used to buy gallons of water from the store and lug it home. What a pain that was. Great job on the lens. :)
